Ianko Ignatiev founded aNEWSme in 2009 to bring his experience in ecommerce, and the power of recommendations, to news content. Our vision is to make the way people interact with news content more natural while at the same time helping news publishers monetize their content.

We have a team of experienced entrepreneurs and engineers, with combined experience of more than 100 years in building complex solutions for content and behavior analysis.

 
CEO –Mr. Ignatiev is entrepreneur with 10+ years of marketing, operations and business development experience in off-line and on-line startups like Music123.com, Oberon Media, ToysRUs.com, Lessno.com and others. He is a Wharton MBA graduate.

CTO –Mr. Georgiev is a technology executive with 15+ years of experience building and managing technology solutions. Most recently Biz Dev Director for Vivacom, a $1 billion telecom owned by AIG . He holds MSc. In Computer Science and is a London Business School MBA graduate.

Chief Software Architect –Mr. Manov has 15+ years of experience in creating complex software solution of which 10 years in the ontology field. He has most recently finished building a proprietary search engine for Sanoma, a leading European Web conglomerate.

Chief Science Officer –Mr. Borissov is professor in Quantum Physics in Sofia University with multiple successful projects for practical implementations of complex quantitative algorithms with BiosGroup, Boeing, Accenture, El Paso Energy. He holds a PhD from Temple University and has finished his post doc in Penn State University.

Business Development Director, UK –Mr Dearlove has 10+ years commercial experience in media/ technology, as a media analyst at Natwest Markets/ Deutsche Bank, in senior digital roles at BBC Worldwide, and for a number of technology start ups. He is a graduate of Cambridge University.
